under heavy load (blows breakers)

10hp 3phase 120gallon horizontal, not sure manufacturer. new motor under heavy load(blows breakers)

Matt, have you checked the intake filters to make sure they are clean? They can add a lot of load to a compressor if they are full of crud.

Belt looks loose, or just my eyes?

Hope someone can shed some light on this for you.

yes sir the belt is loose. the problem with this thing is that when you turn it on the motor start to run then quickly starts to stall from load. if you let one of the popoff valves loose manually then the motor can gain enough rpms to run. but same problem on restart about 95% of the time. i cant keep running over to release a valve everytime the compressor starts. thanks for everything. hope we can find a great solution.
