Tubing vs pipe

If a want a 25 scfm flow from the valve is 1/2" npt schedule 40 pipe can I get the same flow from a 3/8" stainless steel tubing line?

Hello Tyler. To get the same flow from two different pipes or tube, the I.D. of them has to be the same.

Please have a look at the pages on this site to do with pipe, air hose, and tubing to note how their dimension may be measured differently.
