Truck Air compressors for air bags won't start.

I've got air bags on my ruck that are hooked to air compressors. When I push the switches that go to the air compressors, it just makes a clicking noise and the air compressors won't kick on. I replaced the pressure switches and they still won't kick on. Any ideas?

The sound you describe may be the sound of a solenoid being energized, but power not flowing.

Or, if the compressors are big enough, the sound might be that of the motor starter not working.

Not enough info to be more specific than that. RV dealers do a lot of work on suspension air bags, and if you have one nearby, ask them to diagnose the sound. Easier done when you can hear it.

Cheers and good luck,

Bill
