trades pro 5 gal. twin tank practically new. instead of starting at high speed it starts at low rpm runs for a few seconds and then trips it's internal breaker and stops. I reset black breaker button over and over and sometimes it will kick in and run properly--help!

Barry, I hear your frustration. Please try this.

Unplug, open drain, bleed all air out of tank, close drain, plug in and start.

Any difference?
