Titan Tac-2T belt question

I replaced the belt on my Titan Tac-2T and it's too loose. The only way I can see to tighten it is the 2 bolts on the underside of the motor that lets the motor slide towards the edge. Problem is they are all the way over with no more room to slide. Is there another way to tighten it or could I use a smaller belt? Thank you for this site Bill you've saved me alot of tome and money.

You are welcome.

As far as I'm concerned use any belt that works and doesn't slide on the sheaves. It sounds to me that somewhere along the line the correct belt stretched, and then longer belts were acquired, with the assumption they were the right size.

Downsize the belt length, adjust the motor into the mid-slot position, and ensure that when the belt is tightened you have about 1/2" of play up and down from center. That should do it.
