titan portoable (wheelbarrel type compresor) 5.5 hp engine wont start.

Seem to be a spark issue. I get a spark with a screwdriver in the plug boot grounded to body of engine. Bought a new plug and no spark same as old plug even when grounded to engine body. Any ideas? It ran fine the day I picked it up. I washed it on the way home, started it up that night and she hasnt started since then. Any ideas?
P.s. it is a titan portoable (wheelbarrel type compresor)

I'm happy to post this for you. It sounds like a mechanical motor issue, not really a compressed air problem.

Maybe once it thoroughly dries out whatever is shorting the spark might resolve itself.

Someone out there can help, I'm sure.
