Timing Device

I've developed several test fixtures that use our house compressed air.
Without reinventing the wheel I'm trying to find an "Off-The-Shelf in-line timing device that will tell me in hours how long air has been flowing thru the fixture.
I'm using the device to help me with the air filter change schedule...ex: The tech using the fixture will replace the filter after X amount of hours shown on the device.
Thanks
Mark
Bill says...Hi Mark:
What are they using to turn the air on to the test fixture?
If it's simply a manual air valve, change it out to a 110 volt solenoid valve, operated with an electric on/off switch.
Feed the hot side of the on/off switch to both the solenoid valve for the fixture and an electric timer.
You can also get a small PLC for $200-$300 that will self time, and send an output signal when the time is up for a filter change.
Norgren also offers a Delta P (pressure drop) gauge for their air filters if all you want to do is make sure that the air filter is changed before it plugs completely.
Cheers,
Bill
