The motor fan.

The motor fan does not turn but electric power runs through it. what is the use of the capacitor.

Larbi, on a TEFC compressor motor, the fan is connected to a shaft running through the motor. The other end of that shaft is connected to the pump.

If this is the type of motor you have, then it's likely that the motor isn't turning.

The capacitor is an aid to starting the electric motor, providing the "inrush" necessary to get the motor going.
