runs up to 120 lbs stops & doesn't restart even if tank has no press. in it

Hello Pete. If the compressor runs up to 120 PSI and cuts out the way it's supposed to, and then you use compressed air, and the pressure falls to the normal cut in pressure point, and the compressor doesn't start, that usually points at a bum pressure switch.
