I have a Task Force 77813 Oil Free Portable Air Compressor.

The compressor will not allow me to set the set the pressure as desired. If I set the regulator gauge at 50 psi it will climb to 100 psi.

I shut it off as I don't know what will happen it I continue to let it run.

I have changed the regulator in hopes of resolving the problem. The original oil filled gauges were full of dirt and could not be read anymore, they were replaced too.

Please double check to make sure the replacement regulator is installed with the arrow pointing towards the discharge coupler.
