Hello Jim.

On the COMPRESSOR WILL NOT BUILD PRESSURE page, there is another link that takes you to a page that identifies all the common reasons why a compressor will not build pressure.

If you haven't done so, that's probably the place to start.

A compressor that is running and won't build pressure often has a valve or gasket failure, and I suspect that yours falls into that category, though I don't have a lot of info to go on.

First read the page... :-), then, as a first check, remove the intake filter, put your hand near the intake port while the compressor is running, and if you feel a "huffing" of air out, that is a marker for valve failure.

Good luck, and keep us posted as to developments, for other folk's sake.

Cheers,

Bill
