Tank pressure doesnt reach cut-out level

my name is Rich....i bought a porter cable c2002 air compressor in dec. of 09. the first one i bought the compressor never shut off. i got that one replaced and the new one worked fine until now. at work last week i noticed it didnt shut off, i went over to check and tank pressure only was at 90, i think cut out was around 150. i ran it for almost 10 minutes and it never went past 90. shut it off to listen for leaks and never heard any. any ideas on the problem ? or is there a defect in this model ? i went to porter cable site and this issue was not listed in their troubleshooting section....baffled in Ct.
