Or ensure that whoever is switching off your compressor, make sure they are not pressing the emergency stop, if you do that and the compressor is loading (inlet valve open) then pressurised oil will shoot up your air intake and into the air filter

oil in air filter?

if your indicators say the filters are OK, then check the butterfly and blowdown valves. one or the the other likely isn't working properly.

Not alot of info to go on but if this is happening on any screw compressor, get your inlet valve serviced then you shouldnt have this problem
