Speedaire won't start.

I have a speedaire direct drive 2Hp. It overheated the other day and shut down.

It started today for about 30 secs, and blew a houshold fuse. Now when I turn it on all I get is a humm in the motor and it blows the fuse. What do you think I need to change?

That it started and ran 30 seconds and then blew the fuse seems to rule out the capacitor for me, though that may still be the problem.

It appears to be either that, or the motor, as far as I can see.
