John, the cut in pressure is often in the area of 80-90 PSI and the cut out pressure is usually in the 120 PSI range.

The system should have a PRV installed, which will open if the pressure switch fails on the cut out, and the pressure in the system continues to rise past the normal cut out pressure.

Look under the pressure switch cap for wiring information, or contact Speedaire for wiring details. Or, if someone out there can advise on wiring for John, please post.

Cheers,

Bill

What is the max psi and cfm rating on a speed-air model 5Z185 air compressor?

Hi Allen. Given that there's about eight gazillion makes and models of air compressors now, I don't know the specs on most of them!

Did you check with Grainger? See the SPEEDAIRE page from the Nav bar for help in finding your closest dealer.

Otherwise, your request is now posted. Maybe another generous Speedaire compressor user can provide this info.

Cheers,

Bill

The blow by valve sets off at 135. and the factory shut-off setting is 110 lbs. I think the Tank is rated at 165lbs.
