Speedaire and ambient air temperature

I was thinking of buying a speedaire air compressor, a two stage, 7.5 horse, 23.1cfm at 175psi.

My garage is not isolated at all and would be out in the cold all winter.

My question is that the manual says not to operate it under 32 degrees Fahrenheit.

Can i operate it under that temperature?

I'm guessing you mean your garage is not insulated?

Me, I'd build a closet for it and put an automatic heater in there set to "no-freeze" (typically 40 degrees).

You can leave the heater on all the time or turn it off when it's warm.

Running, the compressor will likely warm the air enough to be OK.

No, not with any success and with the risk of damage to the compressor and voiding the warranty.
