Hello, I've got a problem with this pump, when it builds up to 25lbs. it acts like it is in a bind and turns very slowly, when you remove power it is free.If you take the line of the tank it will run all day and seems to be moving plenty of air. I've tried two different pressure switches and check valves same results, the motor electric was just rebuilt and is the same that came on the compressor, any ideas?

If your compressor motor lugs under load, then I believe it's either a mechanical problem, or the motor cannot handle the increasing load as the tank fills.

That it runs all day without load simply means that it hasn't failed completely.

It were me, I'd take the motor to an electric motor rebuild shop for a load test, and probably another rebuild.
