speedaire 2Z370

I recently purchased a speedaire 2Z370 diaphram compressor from the second hand store. It appears to be in good shape and (I think) functions properly. What are the uses for this compressor? Can I use it with my hvlp gun? Thanks.

Hi John. You've got the cart before the horse, my friend.

First, you decide what air tools you want to use. Then, you look at these tools from the perspective of what air flow they need (CFM) and at what pressure (PSI) they need that air at, and then you find an air compressor that provides, at the minimum, the flow and pressure that the tools need.

I cannot locate the specifications for your air compressor, so I can't tell you what the expectations are for the flow rate and pressure of that compressor.

And, since there are many, many brands of HVLP paint guns, all using different flows and pressures of compressed air, I sure can't tell you if your diaphragm air compressor will run it or not. Sorry.
