 Compressor motor wont kick down

hi jody again .. i ment that the gas motor just keeps makeing pressure. it wont kick down to an idle? is that the pressure switch than? thanks bill or anyone for your feed back jody

I don't have a lot of experience with gas driven compressors.

Their function is similar to the electric motor type, and, if the motor doesn't slow down to idle after the cut-out pressure is reached, then it sounds like their equivalent of a pressure switch is the problem.

Anyone else help Jody?
