by Daniel
(Bethlehem,pa)

3-phase 208/230/460volt max is 230v 50amp.min is 230v 19 amps it is an 80 gallon air compressor. i have to wire the motor and the power there is low voltage on the motor and high voltage which one do i use. should i wire it to 230 volts and use low voltage on the motor and if so should i use a disconnect or 4 prong outlet for power.

Bill says...

Daniel. Sorry but I am not an electrician. While I can, and do, simple electrical stuff on my basic home compressor, when it comes to the one in the shop, particularly higher voltage ones, I call in an electrician.

Cheers,

Bill
