Senco PC1010 diagnose

by Sirirat Martin

My 1-gal air compressor only fills the tank up to 35 psi rather than it's usual 125 psi. Both gauges show identical readings and the motor will continueously running but no increase in pressure. The regulator will let you lower the output but that about it.

Is this a sign of a failed regulator? What is your diagose?

Sincerely,

Bo Martin

Bo, from what you are telling me, no, I don't think this is a regulator problem.

There are a number of reasons why a compressor will run and not build tank pressure.

All of those I can think of are linked from the Troubleshooting page, "Will Not Build Pressure".

Have a look, see if anything twigs with your compressor, and feel free to add a comment to this thread if I can help further.

Cheers,

Bill
