Second head ~ one isn't good enough!

I would like to instal a second head to my shop compressor and would like to know how to do this exactly

I guess you want to add the second pump head to try and increase flow capacity?

Even if I had done it, I wouldn't even know where to begin to advise you how, as you have provided no information about your existing compressor.

It were me trying to add capacity, I wouldn't fool with the very complex process of trying to convert a single head compressor into a two pump-headed one. I would instead install another compressor to augment the existing one.
