Sears Model 106-17378 (Help with finding a part)

I read Pat's post about having a 106-7378 model, purchased in 1/69. His post was dated 12/15/09. My husband has a unit like this. The compressor went out, and we bought another one, from Harbor Freight. Glen is disabled. He had taken everyting off the tank. I finaly was able to match the right electric motor, with the right larger pulley, but cannot find the part that goes in the center. Since I don't know what it looks like, I don't know what to look for. Can someone send me a j-peg picture of their complete unit, so I will know what to look for? My husband has memory damage, so does not now where he put it, before he had his heart surgery.
