sears air compressor Air compressor won't restart after circuit breaker tripped

I have a sears air compressor (110 psi) that was running when a space heater on the same circuit tripped the circuit breaker. I reset the breaker but now the air compressor won't restart. When I flip the bar switch on the compressor to on, I hear a click but it will not start. I do have power in the circuit.

Unplug the compressor, open the tank drain, and drain down to zero PSI.

Close the drain, plug in the compressor.

What happens, if anything?
