sears 1hp compressor connecting rod

Need connecting rod for a sears 1hp compressor. No luck with Sears or the manufacturer(Campell Hausfeld). Model # 106.172441 made in the 70's. On the rod "VS-8-B" and the letter A with C which Im guessing is the maker. Any help will be appreciated.
