SCFM at 100 psi on Kobalt 30 gal 2hp
Hey, I bought a kobalt 30 gallon 2 hp, 220v oiled compressor,
It's worked great for me with my hvlp, drill motors, sanders, etc. I'm looking at getting a media blast cabinet, but the cfm requirements are around 9.5-10.5cfm at 100 psi. The Kobalt compressor, only gives a rating of 6.5 scfm at 40 psi. I'm trying to figure out if it will be able to run the media blaster.
The majority of what I work on, is small parts, auto/gunsmithing/trim pieces. I don't need a heavy duty air compressor for anything else I run. I recently sold my quincy 60 gallon, because it seemed excessive, hope I'm not kicking myself in the butt for that!
