Runs very slow then cuts off,blows breakers

The compressor is almost new,, It blew the reset and main fuse ..When I reset them it ran very slow then cut off ,blowing both breakers.. Where do I start seeing whats wrong ??

Hi Larry, please try this.

Unplug the air compressor, open the tank drain, bleed ALL air out of tank, close the tank drain, plug the compressor in and start it.

Any difference at all?

 mine does the same

mine sometimes does the same and sometimes trips the house breaker stright away. sometimes starts ok and on refill trips.
just brought second hand and getting no joy from seller.
