rol air - change motor HP

Can I put a 7hp motor on a role air 7722hk28 that original had a 8hp on it.

The Justin, the short answer is, yes!

As long as the shaft diameter and footprint are the same, you can run your air compressor with any HP motor you want, that is...

The real issue is, of course, if the 7 HP motor has the juice to drive a pump that is designed for an 8 HP motor.

Worst case scenario - the pump wont' run. I doubt that.

Second worse case - your pump runs, you get enough compressed air, but you wear out your motor sooner.
