Rol Air air compressor trouble shooting - won't build pressure

rol air compressor gets to 120 and keeps running, just happened out of no where

Hey Todd. Sorry about the compressor problem.

It would be good to know what the normal cut out pressure level is on your compressor? In other words, is the pressure reaching 120 PSI and it's supposed to stop, or is 120 PSI below the pressure it's supposed to reach?

My guess is that it's the latter, and it keeps running because it can't reach the cut out pressure level.
