Ridgid 1.8 twin tank oiless will run to fill, but won't auto shut off anymore. Tops off pressure at 170, but it will stay there and run forever. Auto shut off broken.

Ridgid tops off pressure at 170
by: Bill

Is 170 PSI the normal cut out for this compressor?

If it's running to 170 and not getting to the cut out pressure setting, see the troubleshooting pages on this site about air compressors that run and run for some things to check.
