If you have the Emerson motor, the wiring is on the motor plate.

Other motor? You need to specify and check on that.

oil extender pipe for Husky VT631403 air compressor

by RandallK
(Southern Cal)

What is the size of pipe I need/threading

I don't have the specs for that Randall, but I do believe your air compressor was made by Campbell Hausfeld for Husky. See the page on Campbell Hausfeld for contact info for them, to see if they have the dimension.

From what I've been able to find, I'm going to suggest that it may be a 1/8 NPT thread. A quick check is to pick up a 1/8" nipple at the plumbing store and see if that threads in. You can get the nipple almost any length you need.

Anyone else have any suggestions for Randall?

Thanks,

Bill

Husky air compressor wont shut off at 125 psi

by ken mileski
(boston ma)

ok i bought this 8 gallon compressor from home depot last year.

now when i use it it gets to pressure at 125 psi then humms like its not gettin full voltage but still on and blows breakers.

if i unplug it and use up the air in the tank and get it under 50 psi it will turn on and work fine till it builds 125 again.any ideas

Howdy Ken... lots of ideas, some might even be worthwhile! :-)

You don't tell me what the normal cut pressure setting of your air compressor is. I take it that 125 PSI is below the normal cut out setting, but by how much?

When you add a comment here with that information, tell me a bit too about how you are plugging the air compressor in... what type of extension cord, how long and so on.

Cheers,

Bill
