Replacing silencer on Atlas Copco screw type compressor dryer?

hello all,
As we know that dryer unit on air compressor is always on line. There is step mentioned on the plan maintenance regarding to manufacturer manual that silencer should be replaced after certain running hours of equipment achieved. At this occasion, what is the recommeded step action to safely carry out the replacement of dryer silencers ? many thanks for the responses.
