Reducing hose size from industrial 3/4 to 3/8

Can I reduce the 3/4 outlet of Ingersoll Rand Tow Behind compressor to a 3/8 hose without having any safety issue?
Can I use for the compressor side a regular steel connector or it has to be bronze?
My intention is to try to operate Soda blaster sold by Eastwood Company that needs 10cfm and my actual compressor can't deal with the amount of air the blaster need. I am planning on renting a compressor.

Reducing hose size

If the issue is that the outlet from the compressor is too large for your air lines, no worries.

Reducing the line size anywhere from the compressor on down to where you use the air has no safety considerations, unless the air hose is not rated for the pressure. Then you may have an issue. Otherwise, you're good to go.

In terms of the fittings material, nickel coated steel or brass is best. A bare steel fitting may rust in time due to the water in the air. Over the short term, no real worries there either, as far as I'm concerned.
