PRV for Speedaire #3Z124 C Compressor Model #1Z943B 37B

Have a pressure relief valve coming on a Tee from the Air tank. Above the Tee is the automatic pressure shut-off. It shuts off at approximately 115 PSI and turns back on at approximately 80 PSI. This seems to work ok.

However the pressure relief valve leaks at approximately 70 to 75 PSI. The thread size of this relief valve is 9/16-18 with an adjusting nut and below that is a spring and piston(looks like aluminum) approximately 1/4 long and 1/8 around. The bottom side of the piston is concave and opposite, in the piping body, is is convex.

I can't seem to find the correct size relief valve anywhere and I hoping you might be able to point me in the right direction.

Hi Dave. Thanks for writing in again.

I can't "see" in my mind what it is you are writing about. Want to take a digital photo and send it in so we can have a look?

Did you get the opportunity go to the Speedaire page on this website and find their local sales and service location to ask them?

I've moved this post to the Compressor Replacement Parts page in the hopes that someone out there has a part or can help you.

Cheers,

Bill
