Problem building pressure 10-PUTS Hyrovane Compressor

HI,

This compressor takes forever for the pressure to climb in the storage tank. There appears to be no leaks out of the tank, but it runs for a long time before it climbs to about 905psi and then won't hit the 100psi these are designed for. This all happened after the oil/air separator filter was changed, along with the oil and inlet air filter that wraps around the plastic housing on the end where the air comes in. Could this be related in any way? I believe I put the correct oil into the machine, not sure if this could contribute? Refilled it to about half-way up the sight glass. thanks for your help. CC

Yeah, sounds like you either forgot a seal/o-ring or got one scrunched up so it it didn't seal.

I'd take it apart while carefully looking looking for damaged/missing parts.
