PRO SOURCE AIR COMPRESSOR, MODEL # 1110 C SERIAL # 0609005101. WE NEED AN OIL PLUG

APPARENTLY WHEN PACKING THIS UNIT THEY FORGOT TO PACK A OIL PLUG FOR THE TOP OF MOTOR. WE HAVE SEARCHED THE INTERNET WITH NO LUCK. WHO MANUFACTURES PRO SOURCE EQUIPMENT? I AM SURE IT IS PROBABLY AN OTHER COMPANY NAME, BUT NO LUCK FINDING OUT WHO. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP. JANIE GAWART

Janie, the logical source for both parts and info about parts sources is the store where the unit was purchased. Your post suggests that the Pro Source compressor is brand new. It were me, I'd pack it up, take it back, and ask for a new one where all parts were included.

I, too, cannot find the source. There appear to be thousands of similar air compressors flooding the market under hundreds of brand names, the bulk of them being, I think, from China. Good luck then in finding parts.

WE BOUGHT IT SEVERAL MONTHS AGO AT BIG LOTS. THEY TOLD US THE COMPRESSOR WAS S FLUX SHIPMENT AND THERE WAS ONLY ONE. THEY COULD NOT TELL US WHERE THE COMPRESSOR CAME FROM. CAULK IT UP TO MAKING SURE EVERYTHING IS IN THE BOX. THANKS FOR GETTING BACK SO SOON. JANIE G.

Hi Janie.... Off brand import compressors typically do not have a parts supply network, since they are so low cost, the manufacturer, and certainly the store that sells them, treat them as throw-aways. Ask the local compressor sellers in the big box stores who, locally, fixes their compressors under warranty. That shop may help. Also, if it's oil lubed, you need to be concerned about the cap having a dip-stick of the correct length. Is this referred to in any of the literature that came with the compressor? B.
