pressure valve in head

every once in a while the 75 psi pressure valve in the head seems to stick and pump simultaneously with the head.valve was changed once and i was wondering if maybe there was another problem.thank you

backstreet collision, is this a twin cylinder air compressor? If so, look to the intake valve on the second cylinder as a possible source for the problem. If it sticks, the line from the first cylinder becomes over-pressurized, and the PRV in the line lets go.

If not this, or not right issue, please provide more details about your air compressor problem.
