Pressure switch for low PSI applications (50PSI)

Hello,
I'm basicaly lokking to build myself a 50 psi air compressor by hooking up a gast 72R142 rocking piston compressor to a empty air tank.
http://www.gastmfg.com/rocr.html
Because that compressor as a 50 PSI max pressure rating, I'm looking to have a pressure switch (with unloader valve) that will maintaing a lower than 50 PSI pressure at wich the compressor could be used safely. Could I use a standard Air Switch (furnas or other) that are ajustable from 95 to 125 Psi and adjust them to be used, from 30 to 45 ?
Thanks
Phil

Bill says...If you purchase a pressure switch that is adjustable, then sure, you can set the cut in and cut out pressure levels where you wish.
You do want to get a PRV valve that is set to open if the pressure exceeds whatever is the safe pressure level of your system, so that in the event the pressure switch fails to shut off the compressor, the PRV will open to vent air before the pressure becomes dangerous.
Cheers,
Bill
