power craft air compressor wont start

i have a power craft air compressor from aldi's and it has been working fine. but today i set it up and went to hit the start button and it just died on me. if i leave it for a few minutes and then retry, it will start off very slow for about 3 seconds and just die.

Unplug it, drain all the air from the tank, and try to restart it, after you close the tank drain valve.

Anything?

Thanks for the suggestion, but unfortunately it did not work.

If you have good clean power supply, and are not using an extension cord, then the next thing I would check would be the start capacitor. They do wear out, and if yours is going or gone, there isn't enough juice to get the motor going.
