Portable Speedaire air compressor runs but does not build any pressure at all

I have a New Commercial Portable Speedaire air compressor 120v 1.8H.P. 26 Gallon .. it runs but does not build any pressure at all

You say it runs. I believe that the motor is running. You can hear the pump running too?

I believe the break in means to let the compressor run for a certain period, with the tank drain wide open. Assuming that has happened, did you close the drain?

Next, put your finger up near the intake port on the pump. Are you feeling any air being drawn in at all?
