on/off switch

Where can I find a Furnas electric cw208102av switch? This is off a Campbell Hausfeld compressor and I am not having any luck locating this switch.

Thanks

Hi Denny. Is this on/off switch part of the pressure switch?

I've located replacement pressure switches of this type at some of the compressor departments of the big box stores.

Take you switch in with you when you go to make sure the replacement will fit.

Cheers,

Bill

finding a switch
by: lin842

If you have a tractor supply store near you they sell ch compressors and all their parts. I just found one there Sat. The one I needed cut in @ 95/ cut out @ 125 was $39.

The two stage switch for higher cut in @ 125/cut out @175 pressure was $49.

hope this helps.

Conversion kit
by: Bill R.

I had the same problem and discovered that that switch has been discontinued and been replaced by a conversion kit to incorporate a newer more durable switch. Unfotunately it does require changing out the gauges and such but it is a fairly simple job when you follow the instructions that come with it. I searched the web and found the best price by going to http://www.jackssmallengines.com/searchdb2.cfm
Type in either the old or new part number and click on submit and it will bring up the kit. The price is $60.61 plus shipping ($8.99 to lower 48). Everywhere else it was priced from $84.00 all the way up to $108.00. The part number for the new switch is CW301300AJ. I hope this is helpful.

Same Problem, where to get a switch
by: Clark

Hi. I am having the same problem, locating a switch for my Campbell Hausfeld 3.5 hp compressor. Is there another switch that can be used as a replacement so I don't have to try and change the regulator, gages, etc. too?

Bill says...

You don't have to change the regulator, gauge, etc. too, to change a switch.

I'm sorry, but I don't have detailed info on every compressor out there.

Maybe send in a photo so we can see what you are talking about?

Cheers,

Bill
