I HAVE A ATLAS GS11FF COMPRESSOR , WE ARE HAVING A PROBLEM WITH THE INTAKE FILLING UP WITH WATER FROM THE INTAKE AT AIR FILTER AND THAN INTAKE VALVE HANGS UP AND SPITS TON OF OIL OUT WITCH GETS ON BELTS AND THROWS THEM OFF . OUR SERVICE GUY SAYS THAT BECAUSE THEIR IS SO MUCH MOSITURE IN THE AIR IT BUILDS UP ALL THIS WATER IN 3 DAYS . IT HAS DONE THIS ON AND OFF FOR 4 MONTHS ?
COMPRESSOR IS UNDER COVER AND HAS ALSO HAD A REFRIGERANT COMPRESSOR REPLACED AND DRIER . ANY IDEAS ? THANKS mIKE

Mike, sorry, I'm a bit confused by your post.

You have an Atlas Copco air compressor, and the intake port air filter is filling with water?

If this is the case, it is a cyclonic air filter, and the air is very humid, I can see this happening.

What kind of drain to you have on the intake filter? It seems to me that you need to plumb the drain away from wherever it's splashing on, and use an auto drain to keep the bowl empty.

I did try to find details of your air compressor, and could not.

If I'm not close to what the real issue is, please add a comment to this post with more detail. If you would like to send a photo, start a new comment, and you can upgrade up to 4 photos, and then I can see what we're talking about.

Cheers,

Bill

Water at intake? Very odd!
If you haven't already resolved this, please let me know a few details.
Water cooled or air cooled? Geograhic location. Usual element outlet discharge temperature. Drains are functioning correctly? GA or GX?
