oil or oil-less compressor

I’m looking for a small compressor to do occasional spray painting. For now, I have 8 wood interior doors to paint, and 4 exterior doors. But, when this project is done, the compressor may not be used for a year. Then I may spray paint something like lawn furniture. Then the compressor may sit idle for another year. Before I start comparing capacities and features, would I be better off looking for an oil-less or an oil type?

Thanks much.
