oil in air tank

oil is coming out of air tank when drained ..
it is a 2 tank emglo portable

Rain, you don't say how old, or how much use.

If your compressor is oil lubed, oil is splashing up underneath the piston to lube the movement, and, if a lot of oil is getting into the air tank, then odds are good your piston seals are going.

If it's a bit of oil, that's normal, as oil on the side of the cylinder will enter the tank. If it's a lot of oil, time to tear down and replace seals, I would say.

Thank u that is what I was thinking this is a v type double. head and I believe. That it does have an oil pump and looks like it also oils the top of the heads I think oil only comes out of one side of tank not other. Is there anything else it could be that u know of does have good air pressure
