When I look at the 93274
by: Bill

I see the sight glass, and the oil should come to the middle of the dot in the middle of the sight glass.

Fill slowly until that level is reached.

Item # 93274 is the number on HRbor freight. The # I gave is on the unit. Thanks

CP compressor capacity

Hmmm, don't find that model. However, are you saying that when you add oil to the sump, adding the recommended amount does not bring the oil level in the sump to the center of the sight glass?

It has a sight glass. It was at proper level before I drained it. Modal # CN560V. Thanks

Assuming you have the right manual, I'd go with what the manual says, Michael.

You don't indicate the model so I cannot check. Does your compressor have a sight glass for the oil sump, or is it using a dip stick?
