Oholiab 23-OHH two stage compressor - Slow air build up

Bill,
I have an Oholiab 23-OHH two stage compressor (Identical to the Ingersoll Rand T-30) with a five HP electric motor. I purchased it rebuilt 15-20 years ago and never any issues during that time and have noticed (could be me being older and impatient) that it seems to take more time to build up pressure.

Would it help any if I replaced the valve fingers at the inlet, discharge and the damper valves and where can I could cross reference (IR to Oholiab) and purchase the parts?

Thanks,
Mike

Mike, yes, it could help to re & re the valves, assuming that they are the cause of the problem.

See Troubleshooting on the site map page for a list of pages that provide more info as to why an air compressor will stop building pressure, or build air pressure more slowly than usual.

Why not go to the source for information on parts for your compressor?
