Not sure about regualtor required

by Kevin
(Mt Isa, Australia)

I need a regulator that will supply 100 cfm at only 7 psi

Hello Kevin. Nice to hear from Mt Isa, Australia.

Three things in response to your query about compressed air regulators;

One, although the regulator has an impact on flow, it's primary purpose is to allow you to set, and then for it to maintain, the downstream air pressure.

Two, regardless of the size of regulator, if your compressor will not deliver the flow you need, you will not get it.

Three, if you need to maintain an accurate 7 PSI, I suggest you invest in a precision regulator as opposed to a general purpose unit. The precision regulator holds a tighter pressure level.

Cheers,

Bill
