no oil

i let my compressor run out of oil and now its froze up, any way i can fix this problem

If you can't get it to run again after adding lube, then you may have created an expensive boat anchor.

If you buy another compressor of similar make, you may have a ready supply of spare parts for your new one.

Sometimes its an easy fix but only if you are very lucky. I have a 3 cylinder industrial compressor which was given to me after it locked up. I pulled the inspection plate and cleaned the bearing in the end and it has ran great for over a year. I had another slightly smaller twin cylinder pump which I had to tear all the way down and change the bearings and also hone and re-ring it to get it going. I'm a home handyman but I have rebuilt a lot of air pumps for myself and others.
