no air pressure

Just purchased a new air compressor and it doesn't seem to build air pressure on the gauges or even when you release the valve. What have i done wrong???

Kelly, almost impossible to help when I have no details of the air compressor that won't start.

From the TROUBLESHOOTING page there is a link to pages about why air compressors will not start. Have a read of that page, and then comment here telling me details of your air compressor, and what you've checked after reading that page. We'll work on this together.
