No air out of the air line hose....

I noticed one thing you didn't mention concerning no air flow from the hose on an air compressor. There could be frozen water in the hose if it is in an unheated garage even if you drain the tank every time you get done using it moisture can collect in the hose and freeze. I had it happen to me!
